  • WHAT ARE THEY FOR?

    The purpose of installing mechanical interlocks with a coded key is to deprive the area in which personnel must intervene of any form of active and/or residual energy (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal) to avoid any possible risk of restart of the plant.

  • HOW DO THEY WORK?

    Retained key interlocks are equipped with mechanisms inside the body of the lock whose movement physically holds the key until the end of the maintenance operations according to a logic that we could call a cascade in which each key is subordinate to the previous ones and the same the next one is bound

  • WHY “SAFETY”?

    The interlocked lock guarantees compliance with the intervention protocol through the use of a series of specially coded keys positioned on the various locks which oblige the operator to carry out the maneuvers exactly without the possibility of bypassing the phases of securing the system in maintenance as they were foreseen.

  • WHICH MODELS:

    There are essentially two product lines:

  • HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

    Our products, compared to those with the same operating characteristics, have the most competitive prices on the market without losing anything in terms of quality, reliability and resistance and in a period in which all companies are forced to fight daily with the rising cost of materials also this aspect should not be underestimated.

Purpose of the course

To teach the student the importance of the lockout tagout methodology to guarantee the safety of operators during maintenance activities

Course duration

4 ore

Course program with issuing of certified certificate

· The importance of making yourself safe before carrying out any maintenance activity

· The role of training as a prevention tool

· Loto procedure: regulations

· Lockout Tagout: when, where and why

· Management of the procedure in the presence of shift changes

· Application of the lotus method and related forms

· Practical test of use of lockout devices

Advantages of our course compared to the competition:

· ON-SITE: The student is directly involved in positioning the devices on the energy sources that he will dissect;

· INTERVENTION REGISTERS: we can help you in drafting the procedure by providing you with the intervention registers and then illustrating them during the course to help you learn from the beginning how the documents will have to be filled in when the procedure becomes fully operational;

· INTERVENTION PROCEDURE: we integrate your procedure with the LOTO methodology;

· WORKSHEETS (USE INSTRUCTIONS): we develop the worksheets necessary to instruct staff in the use of the devices;

· LOTO DEVICES: the purchase of our products shown during the course allows the student to immediately recognize the models to apply depending on the sectioning activity he will have to carry out;

· SCREEN PRINTING: to help staff in the learning phase and subsequent use we can screen print the code that they will then find in the worksheet to clearly identify how and where to use the device;

· FLEXIBILITY: we know from experience the difficulty of bringing together multiple maintainers and at the same time guaranteeing assistance interventions, for this reason we are always available to organize the session based on your needs; New paragraph
